+This is the only Acorn ARM series chip with chip-art, a [[https://siliconprawn.org/map/vlsi-technology/vl2311-albion/philpem_mz_ms10x/#x=2768&y=9703&z=6|crying eye in a triangle]] reminiscent of the "all-seeing eye". This is probably a pun on the name of the chip, "IOC" or I/O Controller.
